Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) has announced the launch of a 2014 winter concert series. Making her debut at the Bucks County Playhouse is Tony and Emmy Award-winning Leslie Uggams, whose career has spanned Broadway, Hollywood and concert stages around the world. In AN EVENING WITH Leslie Uggams directed by Michael Bush, Leslie will perform a variety of her classic, signature songs all in one evening audiences won't forget. Birdland Jazz Club has announced their line-up of talent for March 3-9. Birdland will kick-off their excellent week of programming with the following acts:

When the Harlem Renaissance was in vogue at the dawn of the 20th Century, the jazz clubs around Jungle Alley, between Lenox and Seventh Avenue - The Savoy Ballroom, Small's Paradise, Minton's Playhouse, Clark Monroe's Uptown House, The Ubangi Club, Park Palace, Connie's Inn, and others - were the place to be. These immortal nightclubs, concert halls, cabarets, speakeasies and ballrooms, will be channeled and showcased May 4 - 10 at the Fourth Annual Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival.

Tonight, February 20, Littlefield, Brooklyn hosts Pete Lanctot with his band of merry cohorts for their inaugural album release party. A unique and sought after singer songwriter living in NYC, Lanctot boasts surreal and mysterious narratives that invoke present day New York City, a Memphis juke joint of the 1920s or hitchhiking a depression era plains state highway.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that Oscar-nominated musician Pharrell Williams, coming off of his multi-Grammy Award-winning night, will headline the 'Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy's' during the 63rd NBA All-Star Game tonight, Feb. 16, at New Orleans Arena. Broadway legend, Christine Andreas, will perform at Kupferberg Center for the Arts in an intimate evening of romantic songs and stories in Love is Good. Accompanied by her husband, Martin Silvestri, at the piano, the duo will star in a very special Valentine's Day concert at Lefrak Concert Hall tonight, February 14th at 8:00 pm as part of the Kupferberg Presents 2013/2014 season.
