DAMAGE CONTROL Reading Stars Jackie Hoffman, Nancy Opel, Stephen Buntrock and Jeffrey Schecter Today, 10/15

Ted Seifman Productions will present the industry reading of Damage Control, a new comedy by Douglas Braverman (author of Dalliance in Vienna and Snowman) and starring Jackie Hoffman, Nancy Opel, Stephen Buntrock, and Jeffrey Schecter, today, October 15th, 1:30pm, at The Theatre at Sofia's, 221 West 46th Street, New York City. The production will be directed by Mark Waldrop.

Abingdon Theatre Co. Announces ABINGDON BAY RIDGE ONE-ACT FESTIVAL

Abingdon Theatre Company-which has produced 77 new American plays since 1993 - celebrates its 20th Anniversary Season with the inaugural ABINGDON BAY RIDGE ONE-ACT FESTIVAL, an evening of three world-premiere short plays, commissioned by Abingdon Theatre Company, by Kevin Armento, Bo List and Jen Silverman, on Saturday, August 25 at 7:00pm at Christ Church Bay Ridge (7301 Ridge Boulevard) in Brooklyn.

Jan Buttram's LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE swept the recent 6th Annual Ab*ie Award ceremony garnering seven of the eight awards. Voted outstanding play, LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE also took bows for outstanding male actor (Peter Brouwer) and direction, Kate Bushmann. Outstanding design awards went to Andrew Lu (set), Travis McHale (lighting), Catherine Siracusa and Sidney Levitt (co-costume design), and David M. Lawson (sound). On Sunday, Abingdon Theatre Company (312 West 36th Street) celebrated the opening of its latest hit HOW I FEEL IN LOVE, a new romantic comedy by Joel Fields ('Ugly Betty' and 'Raising the Bar'), Directed by Jules Ochoa, the New York premiere stars Mark Doherty, Polly Lee, Tommy Schrider, and Roya Shanks.
