Abingdon Theatre and Jonathan Larson grant recipients Tim Rosser and Charlie Sohne have begun a fundraising campaign for a cast album of the Off-Broadway musical The Boy Who Danced on Air.

Saint Michael's Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 19 opening of the Off-Broadway hit Murder for Two at Saint Michael's Playhouse. Murder for Two features book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair and stars Noel Carey and Jeremiah Ginn, both from Murder for Two's national tour. Murder for Two creative team is led by director Jeremy Scott Lapp with choreography by Wendy Seyb, scenic design by John Paul Devlin, costume design by Andrea Lauer, lighting design Anthony Pellecchia, and sound design by Jill BC DuBoff.

Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, has announced the cast for WORLD VIEWS, a collection of new mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's 2017 Musical Theater Lab. WORLD VIEWS, the company's 11th lab performance, will be presented on July 8, 2017 at 8pm at The TimesCenter.

Bob Ost & Wildly Productive Productions and Xoregos Performing Company, with generous support by Granite Hills Press and The Confucius Institute of San Diego University, are thrilled to announce that Romance of the Western Chamber, a musical adaptation (in English) of the fabled Chinese classic Xi Xiang Ji, will make its U.S. Premiere this fall. The production will play a strictly limited engagement of 14 performances, beginning Thursday, September 14 at TADA! Theater (located at 15 W. 28th Street, 3rd Floor), with opening night scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2017. Performances will take place according to the following schedule: Thursdays & Friday at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm; and Sundays at 3pm.

Broadway veteran and South Florida favorite Avery Sommers, whose voice has been described as a "powerhouse" by The New York Times, takes the stage in Palm Beach Dramaworks' new cabaret series at the Perlberg Studio Theatre from June 23 - June 25. Sommers will present a program of songs by Fats Waller, Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, George and Ira Gershwin, Marvin Hamlisch, Whitney Houston, Donna Sumner, and others. She will be accompanied by Irwin Solomon at the piano.

Directed by Abingdon Theatre Company Artistic Director Tony Speciale, THE BOY WHO DANCED ON AIR is now playing through June 11, at the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Come hear the music play! Palm Beach Dramaworks is pleased to announce the launching of its first-ever cabaret series, which will take place in the Perlberg Studio Theatre. The premiere event, which runs from June 9 - June 11, features local favorite Laura Hodos performing her acclaimed show, Julie and Mary and Ethel and Babs!, a program of songs associated with musical theatre legends Julie Andrews, Mary Martin, Ethel Merman, and Barbra Streisand. Selections include numbers from such shows as My Fair Lady, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Gypsy, and Funny Girl. Hodos will be accompanied by Paul Reekie at the piano.
