The Tony Award® winning production of Bette Midler's hit musical PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT will welcome new principals Adam LeFevre as "Bob" and Julie Reiber as "Marion" to the Palace Theatre when they begin performances on Monday, February 6, 2012.

To celebrate Kids' Night on Broadway in February, Givenik.com gave Luke Mannikus of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT a camera to document a day in his life.

TV, film,and Broadway actress J. Elaine Marcos can't shy away from the fact that she's a distant relative of the Marcoses, the Philippines' most controversial political clan. Apart from the obvious last name and broadly similar facial features as Imee Marcos, the current governor of the northern province of Ilocos Norte, J. Elaine even made a cameo appearance as Imee's mom, Imelda Marcos, the Philippines' former first lady, in the Broadway musical comedy THE WEDDING SINGER five years ago. Nonetheless, the Marcoses (and Filipinos around the world) should pay attention to this petite, brown-skinned, talented actress - J. Elaine happens to be carrying an impressive Broadway resume that includes MISS SAIGON, FLOWER DRUM SONG, WONDERFUL TOWN, SWEET CHARITY, again THE WEDDING SINGER, A CHORUS LINE, and her latest assignment, PRISCILLA: QUEEN OF THE DESERT, where she does a show-stealing turn as Cynthia, a feisty Filipina mail-order bride who performs the late '70s hit single 'Pop Muzik' (interspersed with lyrics in Filipino, e.g.'isa, dalawa, tatlo, I'm rapping in Filipino') while blowing out ping pong balls into the audience.

PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL's 'Diva' trio Jacqueline B. Arnold, Anastacia McCleskey and Lisa Howard woke up legendary New York radio personalities Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill by belting out a medley of dance-floor hits live in studio on 95.5 WPLJ's 'The Big Show with Scott and Todd' this morning. With an astounding array of outrageous costumes and featuring a score of dance-floor classics, Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical opened at the Palace Theatre in March 2009. The production will now have its final West End performance on 31 December 2011.

Based on the Oscar® award-winning film Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical tells the story of Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback.
