The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of Alex Malone as the Orchestra's Managing Producer of Symphony Pops, effective June 16, 2014.

Echoes of Etta, the award-winning Etta James Tribute, celebrates America's birthday weekend on July 3rd, 9:30pm at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street). Echoes of Etta was the winner of the 2014 MAC Award for Show of the Year.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced their Founders Day Diamond Jubilee, a festive community gathering on Monday evening, June 30, 2014 at 7 pm to commemorate the first 75 years of the Playhouse. The evening will begin with the debut of a new film: Straw Hat Cinderella: Bucks County Playhouse at 75. Narrated by stage and screen star Marsha Mason, the film features historic photographs, paintings and drawings and commentary by curator David Leopold, Playhouse producer Alexander Fraser, Michener Director and CEO Lisa Hanover, and painter Robert Beck. On Tuesday evening, June 10, the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre will present a preview of The Property Known as Garland starring Lee Marlow and directed by legendary film actor Burt Reynolds at the Lake Park Mirror Ballroom. The show, which is being performed on Judy Garland's birthday, begins at 8:00 pm. The proceeds will benefit the Burt Reynolds Institute Building Fund. The Theatre World Awards has announced the roster of presenters for the 70th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony that include DeAdre Aziza, Dylan Baker, Len Cariou, Tovah Feldshuh, Trent Kowalik, Jefferson Mays, John McMartin, and Zachary Quinto, with special performances by Mr. Cariou and Rob McClure, Monday evening, June 2, 2014 beginning at 7:45 p.m. at Circle in the Square (West 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), home of the current Broadway revival of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill.

Tomorrow, Broadway veteran and current star of WICKED Justin Guarini brings his new cabaret show LOVESICK to 54 Below. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, the show is a tribute to all the horrifying places love has taken him - from a Catholic school closet in Doylestown, PA to the revolving hotel rooms at American Idol, and, ultimately, to Broadway. The San Pedro Theatre Club presents CABARET, a musical based on a book written by Christopher Isherwood, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. The production is directed by Drew Fitzsimmons and Victoria Miller, who also choreographed, with music directed by Leslie Sharp. Warhol, considered the leading artist of the 20th Century and the figurehead of the Pop Art movement, was extraordinarily successful mixing his artistic talent with commercial success. During his most commercial period, Warhol decided to buy himself the most luxurious car money can buy - a 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Warhol's Silver Shadow was ordered on October 14th, 1974 from a New Jersey dealer with specifications of Walnut over Black paint and a Black Leather interior. Warhol never had a driver's license. Many notorious stories abound of Warhol as a passenger in his Rolls Royce. Famous celebrities, such as Truman Capote, Liza Minnelli, and others acted as chauffeur. This Silver Shadow was a prized possession of Warhol for his life and was fastidiously maintained in his Park Avenue, Manhattan New York City garage. Warhol's works are among the most sought after in the art world and continue to reach record-breaking auction prices. In November, 2013, a painting by Warhol sold for $105.4 million a record for the famed pop artist and the second-most expensive piece of art ever auctioned, according to the Sotheby's auction house. That same month, another iconic Warhol work sold for $57.2 million at Christie's. After Warhol's untimely death in February, 1987, the Warhol Rolls Royce, along with Warhol's entire estate, was offered in a major nine day auction to benefit the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. As the last lot on the second day of the Warhol event, the Rolls sold for $77,000 - more than five times the low estimate - the highest priced Warhol item sold that day. All service records are included in the sale. Additionally, provenance letters from Warhol biographer, Victor Bokris, and Warhol's friend, Ultra Violet, are included. Also included is a copy of the original purchase order from Rolls Royce, a copy of the 1988 sale invoice and copy of the Warhol Enterprises title.
