GOOD EGG Responsible Meg has always taken care of her bipolar younger brother Matt. But when she decides to get pregnant-and have her embryos screened for bipolar disorder-is she taking the idea of 'being responsible' too far? A funny and surprising play about bioethics, siblings, and the limits of unconditional love. Dorothy Fortenberry recently graduated from the Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Playwriting. The Public Theater announced details for two post-show discussions to follow performances of John Belluso's The Poor Itch. The discussions will follow performances of the production, currently playing as part of the Public LAB series, on Saturday, March 8 at 8PM and Wednesday, March 12 at 8PM.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Mara Manus) announced casting today for The Poor Itch, the second play of the inaugural PUBLIC LAB initiative. Directed by Lisa Peterson, The Poor Itch is a new play by the late John Belluso that will run March 7-23. Tickets are $10 for all PUBLIC LAB performances.

The Public Theater received an extraordinary 2.7 million dollar grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to launch 'Public LAB,' a vital new play series conceived and presented in association with LAByrinth Theater Company.

Her plays include Bloody Mary (NYIT Award nominee), Sequins for Satan, The Blackstone Hotel, and Soiled Linens. Her work has been developed and produced at Ars Nova, the Williamstown Theater Festival, the Culture Project, the Ontological/Hysteric, and the EVOLVE series at Galapagos. The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Mara Manus, Executive Director) and New Dramatists (Todd London, Artistic Director; Joel Ruark, Executive Director) will hold a memorial service for the Playwright John Belluso, who died on Friday, February 10, 2006. The service will be held at The Public Theater on Monday, February 27th at 7:00 PM. It will be open to the general public.

Johanna Day, Frank Wood and Michael Laurence will star in Arena Stage's The Rainmaker from March 3rd through April 9th
