SIMPLY STREISAND, a celebration of Ms. Barbra Streisand, her legendary career and the music she made famous, will continue at The Laurie Beechman Theatre for one additional performance, following four critically acclaimed previous performances. Following eighteen sold out shows, the hit cabaret series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, will continue for an nineteenth installment, Sunday, October 30 at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the second year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010. The series will close, following an unprecedented 17 month run, with it's 20th performance on Monday, November 28 @ 7pm.

A concert honoring the life and career of the late David Gurland has been scheduled for this coming Monday. Sondheim Unplugged announces that Broadway Veteran GEORGE LEE ANDREWS, who created the role of Frid in A Little Night Music, has joined the company of our Monday, May 23 performance. Mr. Andrews is in the Guinness Book of World Records as 'the longest-running actor in the same Broadway show,' on behalf of his 23-year run in The Phantom of the Opera.
