THE ROYALS Now Available for Amazon Prime Members to Stream

Starting today the first season of E!'s hit series THE ROYALS from Lionsgate and Universal Cable Productions will be available for Prime members to stream or download at no additional charge to their membership.

Zachary Quinto Will Lead Noah Haidle's SMOKEFALL at MCC; Opens in February

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) has announced that Emmy® Award nominee Zachary Quinto will lead the cast of the New York premiere of Smokefall, by Noah Haidle and directed by Anne Kauffman, who directed The Nether for MCC last season to great acclaim. Smokefall continues MCC Theater's season at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street) with previews beginning February 4, 2016 and an opening night set for February 22. It is scheduled through March 13. Single tickets will go on sale January 5, 2016, but advanced tickets are currently available via subscription packages at www.mcctheater.org.

Sela Ward to Join Nick Nolte in EPIX Original Series GRAVES

Premium TV network EPIX announced today that the Golden Globe and two-time Emmy award-winning actress Sela Ward has been cast to star with Nick Nolte in Graves, a single-camera half-hour political satire produced by Lionsgate. Ward will play Margaret Graves, the wife of former U.S. President Richard Graves (Nolte), who decides to follow her own political ambitions just as her husband embarks on a Don Quixote-like journey to right the wrongs of his administration. Ms. Ward replaces Susan Sarandon who departed the series due to artistic differences. Production has commenced in New Mexico.

Kal Penn Joins Cast of Hulu Original Series DEADBEAT

Kal Penn has joined Hulu Original series Deadbeat as “Clyde.” Penn will star in all 13-episodes of the comedy's upcoming season three as a series regular and co-star with Tyler Labine.

DIRTY DANCING Coming to Orpheum Theatre, 11/17-22

The Omaha premiere of DIRTY DANCING - The Classic Story On Stage will find its way into your heart when the touring stage musical of this world-wide smash-hit film comes to the Orpheum Theater, Tuesday, November 17, through Sunday, November 22. DIRTY DANCING is presented by Omaha Performing Arts as part of its Broadway series.

MediaRites' Theatre Diaspora to Close Season with THE SOUND OF A VOICE

MediaRites' Theatre Diaspora, presents the last play of the 2015 season The Sound of a Voice by noted playwright, David Henry Hwang (best known for M. Butterfly, which received the 1988 Tony Award for Best Play and for Chinglish produced at Portland Center Stage)  on Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m at PCS. Playwright David Henry Hwang will join the audience for a Skype talk at the October 17th  2pm performance.

MCC Theater Taps Television Star to Lead John Pollono's LOST GIRLS; Full Cast Set

MCC Theater has just announced the the New York premiere of John Pollono's Lost Girls, BroadwayWorld has confirmed.  Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series "Covert Affairs" for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach (HBO's "Girls"), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green. 

Craig Ferguson to Host New History Comedy Series JOIN OR DIE

HISTORY has ordered 16 episodes of “Join or Die with Craig Ferguson” from Comedy Dynamics and Green Mountain West, it was announced today by Paul Cabana, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming, HISTORY.
