Broadway veteran Eugene Fleming will head the cast of seasoned stage actors and exciting newcomers. Fleming has appeared in numerous musicals including Never Gonna Dance, The Tap Dance Kid, and A Chorus Line. Other cast members include: Nicole Hill, Matt Stewart, Jennifer Swiderski, Ryan Clardy, Shina Ann Morris, Nirene S. The BMI Jazz Composers Workshop, a noted creative forum for musical exploration and development, will highlight the best new jazz compositions created during the last year at its 21st Annual Showcase Concert. The evening will feature a competition to choose the winner of the BMI Foundation's tenth annual Charlie Parker Jazz Composition Prize, which will be given to the writer of the best new work composed in the Workshop.

The music lineup at Lincoln Center Festival 09 includes US debuts by Algerian music icon Idir and Moroccan Chaabi singer Najat Aatabou; a double bill with Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara, and Issa Bagayogo; and a tribute to celebrated New Orleans songwriter Wardell Quezergue, featuring a roster of noted musical artists from that city's annual Ponderosa Stomp music festival.

June 1 7pm at the Library Community Room Kelly Roberti will host an in depth interview with Adam, free to the public. June 5 & 6 8pm performances at Equinox Theatre, 2307 N. 7th (across the street from Murdochs). Each performance is $18 or $30 to attend both performances. Also on June 6 at 2pm at the Equinox Theatre we will have a clinic/workshop $5.
