Due to the current economic conditions, the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse has recently decided to discontinue its equity affiliations for the 2010-2011 season.

Indianapolis' Footlite Musicals will present Rodgers and Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA! on March 12, 13, 19, 21, 21, 26, 27, and 28. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 8 PM and Sunday performances will be at 2:30 PM.

The 2010 Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with Spring Awakening, Enron, Jerusalem and A Little Night Music among the standouts of the season with the most nominations. The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984. The Awards are run by The Society of London Theatre but are adjudicated by panels that are equally made up of members of the theatregoing public and experts chosen for their knowledge and professional experience. The DC area stages' theatre choices in March are dizzying! There's a new play by Terrence McNally at the Kennedy Center, and an off-Broadway gem at Signature Theatre. Adam Guettel's gorgeous Tony Award-winning harmonies will fill Arena Stage in Crystal City. Fagin and his orphans and zaftig Edna Turnblad and her daughter Tracy - will be singing and dancing at Toby's Dinner Theatre in Baltimore and Columbia, MD, and a blood-thirsty musical will be establishing roots at Ford's Theatre. With over 30 shows opening this month, come visit the DC area's 205 theatre venues, and have a monumental time!

Actors' Playhouse has chosen to present four Tony Award-winning shows and one world premiere from a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright in its new season line up. With one more show to be announced, Actors' Playhouse 2010 - 2011 season at the Miracle Theatre is shaping up to be one hot ticket. After a critically acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg's Les Misérables in 2009, which received the most Carbonell nominations for any one show, and with Miss Saigon, another musical from the same creators about to open in March, Actors' Playhouse shows no indication of slowing down the pace for the upcoming year.

Kelrik Productions has announced the five productions that will comprise its winter/spring 2010 season. The season will include Seussical, Bye Bye Birdie, Oliver!, Cabaret, and Beauty and the Beast.

Oliver! Music, Lyrics, and Book by Lionel Bart. Performances will be held on May 14 - June 6, 2010 at Playhouse on the Square.

The next Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010.

Phoenix Theatre's Greasepaint Youtheatre is kicking off the season with an all new production of the beloved, Tony Award-winning musical Oliver! Opening night of the production is December 4, 2009 and will run through December 20.
