This summer The Farm Theater is pleased to present Padraic Lillis' solo show, Hope You Get to Eleven, or What Are We Going to Do About Sally?, directed byScott Illingworth and presented as part of the 8th Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Performances will be on June 23 at 7:30pm, June 25 at 5pm, June 29 at 7:30pm, and July 3 at 4:30pm at The Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). First Draughts is a developmental reading series produced by Amios, a theater collective whose mission is to build community through art. First Draughts is dedicated to expanding first produced at Shotz (Amios' monthly short-play series) into full-length plays over the course of a six-month development process.

The Farm Theater announces their 2016 season, which will include six new installments of the popular bi-monthly Bullpen Sessions, workshops on play development and auditing for grad school, the College Collaboration Project with playwright Micheline Auger at the University of West Florida and Centre College in KY, the Barnstorming Project with playwright Christopher Gabriel Núñez and the Maryland Area Community College Performing Arts Collective, and World Premiere plays by Vickie Tanner and Lindsay Joy.

The September Play Project, or #SPP, launches its inaugural year with a series of new works on the rooftop space of The Delancey, 168 Delancey Street, New York, NY 10002 on September 13th and 14, 2014. Both performances will be at 5 PM. The plays are all 6 minutes in length and set outdoors. The series was conceived by co­producers Jenny Gomez and Jessica Mazo. The aim of the Project is to provide a diverse set of artists with a comfortable platform where they can create, with full production support. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be split evenly between all the playwrights, actors, and directors that have volunteered their time and talent for the project.

Theaterspeak will present WRITE OUT FRONT, an installation of over 125 award-winning and up-and-coming playwrights writing new plays in the storefront window of the Drama Book Shop during store hours, today, August 1st - 31st. In each two-hour time slot for WRITE OUT FRONT, a different playwright will write a new play on a laptop, while the screen shot of their computer is projected onto a 42' monitor facing the passersby on the street, making their normally private creative process public.

The director-writer partnership in solo theater is, for many, the most important partnership in the process of developing a show for a successful performance or run. Yet how do solo theater artists identify what collaborators their show needs, connect with these professionals at the most appropriate stages of their show's development, and properly evaluate who might be the best fit for the production's highest success?

Invited presentations for Accidents Waiting to Happen will begin tonight, May 28, 2014 at IRT Theater and are scheduled to run through Sunday, June 8, 2014.

Stable Cable Lab Co. and Vera Khodasevich announce the cast and creative team for the workshop production of Accidents Waiting to Happen, a play by Jonathan Libman, directed by Padraic Lillis. Invited presentations for Accidents Waiting to Happen will begin on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at IRT Theater and are scheduled to run through Sunday, June 8, 2014. The results of the workshop production - including the actors' experience with the work, the aesthetics of the director and designers, and the audience's feedback - will be invaluable to the development of this new play. This project was developed, in part, through Kori Rushton and the IRT 3B Development Series.

'Zurich, New York' is a cycle of three new plays by three playwrights: 'Repast' by Lindsay Joy, 'Rocks' by Charlotte Miller and 'When You Go' by Alex Riad. Each play takes place on the same day on a dock in Zurich: a fictional lake-side town in upstate New York and will be performed at The Tank (on 151 West 46th Street) from May 16-31.
