Popular recording artist, Broadway star, and concert performer Linda Eder announced today that 'Christmas Where You Are', the follow-u pto her 2000 CD 'Christmas Stays the Same' (on which her 2001 Bravo-TV special and DVD were also based) will be self-released on Monday, October 14, 2013. The CD will be sold exclusively via Eder's web site at www.LindaEder.com and the star promises CD signings and sales at concert dates from November 1 through the end of the year.

First spotted on our message board, and according to the Blue Ridge Times News, part of the theatres' 2014 season will be A Christmas Carol - November 20 - December 21, by: Charles Dickens; Music by: Frank Wildhorn; Lyrics by: Jack Murphy; Book by: Jack Murphy and Vincent Marini.

75 - year old singer Tonia Tecce has made her long-delayed New York City cabaret debut last night at The Metropolitan Room. Previously, Tecce has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Philadelphia's Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts Academy of Music, and sung with Peter Nero and many orchestras . Her show, A Cockeyed Optimist, Why We Believe, The Songs of Richard Rodgers, was written and directed by Michael Bush.

FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE: A Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook, which took place on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut, will be airing on select public television stations throughout the tri-state area. An hour-long version of the concert will premiere tonight, July 18 at 10 p.m on WLIW21, Friday, July 26 at 10 p.m. on THIRTEEN and CPTV, and Tuesday, July 30 at 10 p.m. on NJTV. 'From Broadway With Love' was a concert of healing for the Newtown community where composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway came together with over 300 students from several Newtown dance groups, the Sandy Hook Elementary School 3rd and 4th grades and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir.
