New details have been released regarding the upcoming national tour of the Broadway production 9 to 5: The Musical, opening at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center later this year. The show has been announced in the Chicago, Indianapolis and Atlanta markets. The tour will play Atlanta's Fox Theatre (presented by Theater of the Stars) in September of 2010, Clowes Hall in Indianapolis from January 11-16, 2011, and Broadway in Chicago's series from January 18-31, 2011. No venue in Chicago has been announced. Cast and creative team announcements are also forthcoming.

Seattle Repertory Theatre celebrates the 25th anniversary of August Wilson's beloved story of baseball and family, Fences. The play is being staged in a number of notable productions across the country, including on Broadway next month. Seattle Rep's production, which plays March 26-April 18, 2010, is proud to include Wilson's widow Constanza Romero as the costume designer.

Halsted, opens its doors at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 19th, 2010 in honor of Michael Cullen, owner of the Mercury Theater and Cullen's, and a thirty five-year veteran producer and pioneer in the development of Chicagoland theater as it is known today. Stage and screen stars Andrea Anders and Allison Janney are being tapped to star in a new ABC pilot series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series, entitled 'Mr. Sunshine,' features Anders opposite Matthew Perry's Ben, a San Diego stadium owner who comes to the realization he can no longer skirt by on his charm and good looks.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, stage and screen actress Allison Janney will co-star in the new Matthew Perry film 'Mr. Sunshine' helmed by Tommy Schlamme. 'Sunshine', written by Perry along with Alex Barnow and Marc Firek, centers on Perry who, 'as the manager of an aging San Diego stadium realizes on his 40th birthday that he can no longer get by on just his charming, noncommittal ways.' Janney will play 'Crystal', Perry's boss.
