It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, when artist and artisan, newsman and newsmaker, singer and songwriter celebrate the holiday season with PBS. Harking back to WWI, PBS presents Silent Night, a poignant opera based on the Christmas Eve truce of 1914, when French, German and Scottish soldiers laid down their arms for one evening of peace.
THE TALK kicks off July with “THE TALK Food Festival” series, a month-long summer cooking celebration featuring seasonal recipes from celebrity chefs. Throughout the month, chefs including Rocco Dispirito, Curtis Stone, Cat Cora, Anne Burrell, Pat Neely, Rick Bayless, Lidia Bastianich and Jessica Collins (THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS) will join THE TALK co-hosts in the kitchen and share some of their favorite culinary creations from 2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT, on the CBS Television Network.
Two major FOX enterprises team up tomorrow night on the network when MASTERCHEF judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot oversee a party catering to the accomplished cast of the hit musical dramedy series GLEE.
The annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy(R) Awards show, now in its 40th year, was presented live from The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles tonight from 8-10 p.m., ET/PT, on HLN. ABC's Good Morning America's Sam Champion along with HLN's own A.J. Hammer and Robin Meade hosted this year's awards.
The Broadway stars of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, "Dynamos" Lisa Brescia, Judy McLane and Jennifer Perry, will perform the ABBA mega hit "Dancing Queen" live on WOR Radio's star-studded annual "Red Kettle Day" radiothon broadcast tomorrow, Friday, December 9 at 5:40 p.m.
PBS brings cheer to families throughout the country this holiday season with new programming, both in primetime and for kids, beginning November 23.
