ABC Studios announces the May/June DVD debut of four new TV series on DVD, just weeks after their season one finales on ABC-TV. The spring releases begin May 22 with the DVD debut of the paranormal thriller "The River." The network's hilarious "GCB" struts its stuff to DVD on June 12, and both the explosive thriller "Scandal" and the mystery-suspense sensation "Missing" head home to DVD, also on June 12.

On the Sunday, April 8 episode of ABC's GCB entitled 'Sex is Divine', when Pastor Tudor surprises the congregation with an assignment to get frisky, the GCBs take their homework seriously: Burl proposes to Gigi, and she returns with a proposal of her own, Carlene goes overboard with safe sex messaging, while Cricket and Blake interview surrogates.

ABC books back-to-back episodes of GCB for Sunday, April 8. 'Turn the Other Cheek' will air at 9:00/8:00c followed by 'Sex Is Divine' at 10:00/9:00c.

Last night on GCB, titled 'Hell Hath No Fury,' Amanda got worried that Laura would be pegged a 'Javelina', and Gigi threw Amanda a luncheon. According to The Huffington Post, Kraft has pulled its advertising from the new ABC nighttime soap opera GCB. A representative from the company told TMZ, 'Philadelphia has decided to pull its advertising from 'GCB.' We have received a few complaints from consumers and their opinions about our advertising are important to us.'

The ABC network has announced it will encore the GCB pilot episode this Thursday, March 8th at 10:00/9:00c in place of the previously announced rebroadcast of 'Private Practice.'
