HBO has released the full trailer for Season Five of GAME OF THRONES. The hit fantasy series returns on April 12 at 9:00pm ET/PT, following by the season premieres of both "Silicon Valley" and "Veep".

Sundance Institute screens several films in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections, as well as hosting the Special Events section and welcoming participants for two panels, at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, running today, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. If GAME OF THRONES is known for anything, it's the constant violent content and frequent on-screen deaths. HBO's hit fantasy intrigue show has lately been under fire regarding its graphic plots, with some speculating that the blood and gore is quite excessive. However, the stars do not agree.

According to Torrent Freak, HBO's GAME OF THRONES was 2014's most pirated TV show online. The fourth season finale of the series scored 8.1 million illegal downloads, handily beating last year's season finale record of 5.9 million.

HBO has recently re-negoitated its contracts with the stars of the popular drama GAME OF THRONES, signing them on for a possible seventh season and increasing their pay significantly.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Joan Rivers is among the nominees of the 16th Annual Women's Image Network Awards (WIN). The late comedian joins Scandal executive producer Shonda Rhimes, and actress Julia Roberts on the list of women being recognized for their work in film and television.

GAME OF THRONES has officially made it to Spain.

Deadline writes that Screen Gems has grabbed the U.S. distribution rights to Burr Steers' film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's book PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, a spin on Jane Austen's classic romance novel. Not only that, but GAME OF THRONES' stars Charles Dance and Lena Headey have also signed on for the project.

Composer-lyricists Jon Kaplan and Al Kaplan (Silence! The Musical) have put together a theatrical plea to Lionsgate to start work on a DREDD film sequel. Fans have been hoping for a follow-up for some time -- maybe 'Dredd: the Musical' will seal the deal. Check it out below!
