Bill Hanney's North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) presents the annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and original, award-winning adaptation created just for NSMT audiences. Whether it's ghostly special effects, the dozens of revelers and musicians, or the cold scowl of Ebenezer Scrooge, there is something for everyone in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, playing 11 performances only from Friday, December 9 thru Wednesday, December 23, 2016.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater presents a fall foray into the macabre with the musical Nevermore. With music by Matt Connor, book by Grace Barnes, and lyrics adapted from Edgar Allan Poe, Nevermore runs October 20 - November 6. Nevermore is directed by Christopher Ostrom and features Leigh Barrett, Cynthia Harrington, Amie Lytle, Madison Mayer, Ethan Paulini, and Anne Stott, with Music Director & Pianist John Thomas.

The ensemble is filled with a roster of talent that doesn't quit.

Babes With Blades Theatre Company is proud to present the World Premiere of The Promise of a Rose Garden, written by Dustin Spence, to be performed at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., in Chicago. Previews will be Saturday, July 30, Sunday, July 31, Thursday, August 4, and Friday, August 5. The press opening is Saturday, August 6 at 8PM, and the show will run Thursdays-Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3 from August 6 - September 10.

There's Sondheim music galore playing at the Lyric Stage Company as Producing Artistic Director and recognized Sondheim expert Spiro Veloudos directs an octet of Boston musical theatre performers in SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM. In effect, the composer/lyricist is the ninth member of the ensemble as he appears onscreen, larger than life, providing intimate commentary on his life, his process, and his words and music. The video affords the opportunity to sit through a master class with the master, and the living, breathing actors demonstrate his brilliance with their starry interpretations.
