Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) begins accepting entries today, Tuesday, January 2, for the LIVE for FIVE online lottery for $5 tickets to the New York stage return of MILES FOR MARY, a new play created by The Mad Ones. The play is written by Marc Bovino, Joe Curnutte, Michael Dalto, Lila Neugebauer and Stephanie Wright Thompson; in collaboration with Sarah Lunnie and the creative ensemble of Amy Staats and Stacey Yen. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, the production received critical acclaim during its smash run at The Bushwick Starr in Brooklyn during the fall of 2016. This new limited engagement at Playwrights Horizons marks the production's Off-Broadway debut.

After a smash run last fall, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will present MILES FOR MARY, a new play by The Mad Ones. Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced today the 2018 class of Emerging Artists, recognizing diverse talents, from a choreographer bridging the worlds of classical Indian and contemporary dance to one of the new faces of indie film to world-class musicians. Each recipient was nominated by one of Lincoln Center's 11 resident organizations, acknowledging his or her extraordinary talent and budding career.

PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now invigorates New York City January 7-20, 2018, with the sixth annual showcase of progressive opera and music-theatre, curated by co-founding directors Kristin Marting (of HERE), Beth Morrison (of Beth Morrison Projects) and Kim Whitener (of HERE), along with newly appointed co-director Jecca Barry (of Beth Morrison Projects). Since its launch in 2013, the Prototype Festival has presented a phenomenal 32 new works across five seasons, propelling the industry forward as a first-rate presenter and influencer.

This fall Lincoln Center Theater, in association with The Araca Group, will produce Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar's new play JUNK, directed by Doug Hughes. The production will begin previews Thursday, September 14 and open on Thursday, October 12 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Andy Bragen Theatre Projects and Rachel Sussman will present the World Premiere of Andy Bragen's DON'T YOU F**KING SAY A WORD, directed by Lee Sunday Evans (2015 Obie Award-winner for A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes; Christopher Chen's Caught with PlayCo) at 59E59 Theaters, November 4-December 4.

This summer, Elastic City, the pioneer of artist-led participatory walks, will present The Last Walks, its seventh and final festival.

In its 25-year history, New Georges has brought forth an unprecedented generation of women playwrights and directors, providing them with steady artistic support and first or career-transforming productions in New York City. New Georges will celebrate its anniversary season with the World Premiere of Hilary Bettis' Alligator, directed by Elena Araoz, presented in collaboration with The Sol Project this fall, and of Sheila Callaghan and Daniella Topol's collaboratively-created Water at 3LD Art & Technology Center in June of 2017 as part of Water City, a multi-disciplinary art event.
