Alligator Records artists Coco Montoya and Tinsley Ellis will make a stop in Albuquerque on their current 'Blues Rock Titans' tour. Montoya and Ellis will each perform a full headline-length set at The Dirty Bourbon on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Legendary blues-rock guitarist and vocalist Coco Montoya will feature songs from his latest Alligator Records release, HARD TRUTH. He's currently at work on a new album due later this year. Tinsley Ellis is among the blues world's best loved, hardest working and most well-traveled statesmen. Ellis' latest release, 2018's WINNING HAND, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. We are fortunate to live in an area that has so many talented actors, technicians, and directors as well as dedicated theater companies - not to mention supportive theatergoers. From the local theaters to the Equity tours that come through the area, we are lucky that Syracuse offers many opportunities to experience live theater. Having seen countless productions in this area since I was young and reviewed many shows for the past few years, I thought I would take a moment to share which productions I am most excited about in 2019!

Daryl Dragon was a brilliant keyboardist, arranger and record producer, known to his many fans worldwide as 'The Captain' half of the pop music duo, Captain and Tennille. Daryl passed away on Wednesday, Jan 2nd at 1:37am due to renal failure at the age of 76.
