Members of the New York Film Critics were told that it wouldn't see the film before mid-December, meaning that it would miss the deadlines for the Golden Globes, which has its final screening on December 4, National Board of Review, which announces its winners December 3, the SAG Awards, which close nominations on December 8.
Now according to Variety, the film will indeed meet the early deadlines. Members of the Hollywood Foreign Press will see the film in early December.
