Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, has unveiled full casting for Gilbert & Sullivan's THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, which will star previously announced Will Swenson as 'The Pirate King.'

Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, The Public's Free Shakespeare in the Park all-female production of THE TAMING OF THE SHREW began performances on May 24 and is part of the global 400th anniversary celebration of William Shakespeare's life and death. There's a bone disease called 'pycnodysostosis', but it's more commonly known as Toulouse-Lautrec Syndrome. Inspired by true events from the underground dance clubs of 1950s Memphis, Tennessee, MEMPHIS follows the fame and forbidden love of a radio DJ who wants to change the world and a club singer who is ready for her big break. Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, MEMPHIS is filled with laughter, emotion and roof-raising rock 'n' roll, and features a Tony-winning book by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) and a Tony-winning score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

Roundabout Theatre Company, in association with Daryl Roth Productions, presents the first-ever New York revival of Alfred Uhry and Robert Waldman's musical comedy THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM. The production begins preview performances Off-Broadway tonight, February 18, 2016, and opens officially on March 13, 2016 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This will be a limited engagement through May 29, 2016.

Joining the previously announced Steven Pasquale as 'Jamie Lockhart' is Andrew Durand as 'Little Harp,' Evan Harrington as 'Big Harp,' Greg Hildreth as 'Goat,' Leslie Kritzer as 'Salome,' Ahna O'Reilly as 'Rosamund,' Nadia Quinn as 'Raven/Goat's Mother,' Lance Roberts as 'Clement Musgrove' and Devere Rogers as 'Airie/Man.'

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) released a block of great seats today for the final two weeks of the holiday hit, A Christmas Story: The Musical. The musical will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey theater and has best availability from December 23, 2015 thru January 3, 2016. Based on the popular 1983 film, A Christmas Story: The Musical has a book by Joseph Robinette with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.  A Christmas Story: The Musical will be directed by Brandon Ivie and choreographed by Mara Newbery Greer.
