Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is delighted to announce that full casting is complete for LES MISERABLES, the recent addition to the TUTS 41st season! Les Miserables, which takes place of the previously scheduled Meet Me In St. Louis, will play for two weeks, March 24 - April 5, 2009 at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Houston.

arlier this month, Alan Zachary & Michael Weiner joined in a week-long celebration at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. of the 'Next Generation of Broadway Songwriters' by performing an hour-long concert of their songs, joined by Megan Hilty (star of Broadway's Wicked and 9 to 5). Producer Cameron Mackintosh announced today the final extension of his current Broadway production of Boublil and Schonberg's Les Miserables, now through Sunday, January 6 only at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). The current production of Les Miserables opened on November 6 of 2006. Originally planned as a six-month limited engagement, Les Miserables extended by an additional nine months due to strong box-office sales.
