Tony award-winning actress Lea Salonga had tripped and sprained her ankle as she was heading to her first stage entrance during the technical and dress rehearsal for the Philippine premiere of the musical 'Cats: Now and Forever' Thursday at the Nicanor Abelardo Theatre of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) . Ms. Salonga, who dons Grizabella's scruffy costume, and the Australian touring cast and crew of the T.S. Eliot/Andrew Lloyd Webber musical officially open 'Cats' Manila run Saturday, July 24, 2010.

Producer Orin Wolf and Off the Aisle Productions have announced that It Must Be Him, a new comedy by Kenny Solms, co-creator and writer of the legendary, Emmy Award-winning 'Carol Burnett Show,' will premiere this summer at the Peter J. Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street). Directed by Daniel Kutner, It Must Be Him will begin performances on Tuesday, August 24, and officially open on Wednesday, September 1. BroadwayWorld has now confirmed that Leslie Kritzer will join the cast as 'Gloria Thorpe.'
