Now gracing the cover of the latest Billboard Magazine, Beyonce reveals that her upcoming ablum, entitled 4, is largely inspired by the late Fela Kuti - subject of last season's Broadway hit Fela! produced by her husband Jay-Z. The album is set for release next month.

'It can't be done, man!' That's what Dave Hahn, mastermind behind Dub Is A Weapon, heard when he first floated the idea of a live dub group, as he and his mates listened to some prime 1960s King Tubby cuts in the band van. 'Everyone seemed to think you could only do dub in the studio,' Hahn recalls.

Who knows...and that's exactly the point of GALA/NYC, a one-of-a-kind performance series at the Brooklyn Lyceum that will preview for four concerts in May with a full season of twice-monthly shows to begin in September.
