Tony Estrella, artistic director of The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm), is pleased to announce the theater's 2016-2017 Season. The diverse 5-play line-up includes contemporary landmark plays, a world premiere adaptation of a classic masterpiece, and a cutting-edge sci-fi crime drama new to Gamm audiences. 'In what may be our most ambitious slate of plays yet, we'll travel to the Tudor court of 16th-century England for King Elizabeth, a new version of Friedrich Schiller's political masterpiece Mary Stuart; then to a girls boarding school in New England for Lillian Hellman's groundbreaking Depression-era drama, The Children's Hour.

Grammy-nominated, internationally acclaimed artist Ute Lemper's collaboration with renowned best-selling author Paulo Coelho, The 9 Secrets, is available now via Steinway & Sons. In celebration, Lemper will perform the piece in its entirety in a fully staged production at Symphony Space in New York City on May 13, tickets and information here.

Following its annual season guessing game, Paper Mill Playhouse announced today the lineup for its 2016-2017 season, featuring four musicals, one play and a highly anticipated US premiere. Disney's THE LION KING continues to reign across North America with a sold-out engagement in Tampa, which concluded on Sunday, Feb. 14, at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. The triumphant four-week return grossed more than $5.6 million at the box office and entertained nearly 75,000 patrons during 32 performances.

Renowned New York actress and Olivier nominee Nancy Anderson will play the role of Titania in Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, June 3-26, at Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park.  This marks the company's 16th season of free, outdoor, professional theatre in the park.  Preview performances are scheduled June 1-2.  Performances run nightly, except Tuesdays, and begin at 8 p.m.
