?Trinity Rep closes out its 52nd season Rebels, Renegades and Pioneers with Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, directed and choreographed by 2015 Emmy Award winner Richard Jenkins and Sharon Jenkins. Oklahoma! runs May 5-June 5, 2016.

?Disney Theatrical Productions and Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of DISNEY'S THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Minneapolis' most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the historic Orpheum Theatre stage (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) on Tuesday, July 5 for a limited engagement of five weeks through Sunday, Aug. 7. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced Academy Award nominee Diane Lane will return to Broadway to play 'Ranevskaya' in a new production of The Cherry Orchard. Ms. Lane made her Broadway debut as a child, in the 1977 revival of The Cherry Orchard.

The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) and the Metropolitan Opera in association with the International Friends of the International Lyric Art Festival Aix-en-Provence will present the talk Discovering Chéreau'sElektra at the Metropolitan Opera, on Wednesday, April 6 at 7pm at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall.

The Almeida Theatre announces the cast for the world premiere of Boy, a new play by Leo Butler, directed by Sacha Wares. The cast is Mohammad Amiri, Osmain Baig, Ruby Bridle, Emilio Doorgasingh, Terina Drayton, Aeran Fitzgerald, Frankie Fox, Ellie Mai Gallagher, Bayleigh Gray, Zainab Hasan, Duramaney Kamara, Asiatu Koroma, Wendy Kweh, Lev Litvinov, Georgie Lord, Angel Loren, Teann McDonnell, Eugenie-Alexia Mulumba, Sarah Niles, Demi Papaminas, Imogen Roberts, Abdul Salis, Morgane Tapia,Peter Temple and Matthew Wellard. Boy will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 April until 28 May, with a Press Night on 12 April.

Tony nominee Ramin Karimloo and Joe Kwon released their cover of The Avett Brothers' 'Greatest Sum.' Joe Kwon is the cello player for The Avett Brothers', and Ramin joined him to play and sing this song that 'connected them back in the day.' Check it out below!

A hip hop dance show that stormed the West End is coming to Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre next month (April).

Leading names from both sides of the Atlantic will come together this April in London to develop a new musical. Tony Award-nominated singer & actress Melissa Errico will star in the workshop of The Gold Room which features original music by five-time Grammy nominee Michael Feinstein and book & lyrics by Walking With Dinosaurs writer Warner Brown. Conceived originally by Brown, The Gold Room explores a night behind closed doors in the life of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton.

Grammy-nominated, internationally acclaimed artist Ute Lemper's collaboration with renowned best-selling author Paulo Coelho, The 9 Secrets, is set for release on February 12 via Steinway & Sons. The album presents a song cycle composed and sung by Lemper, set to words by Coelho from his 2012 novel Manuscript Found in Accra, the thematic content of which may be encapsulated in the lines, "After lying undiscovered for over 700 years, a manuscript holding the answers to questions about life and humanity is unearthed. / Simple questions about our lives torn between happiness and sorrow and defined by hope, intelligence and desire to love as much as the capacity to hate and destroy." Coelho himself is featured on two tracks-see below for track list. In celebration, Lemper will perform the piece in its entirety in a fully staged production at Symphony Space in New York City on May 13, tickets and information here.

The 2015|16 BCT 20th Season is announced!

The award-winning musical based on the blockbuster film, THE BODYGUARD, comes to the New Victoria Theatre, Woking for just two weeks from Today 29 March - Saturday 9 April, direct from the West End, and starring three-time Brit nominee and X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke as Rachel Marron.

Stage Door Theatre's production of the multi-award- winning Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical EVITA runs now through April 24th.

 Cal State Fullerton's production of Into the Woods (music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim with book by James Lapine) is directed by Eve Himmelheber with musical direction by Mitchell Hanlon and runs April 8-April 24 in the Little Theatre on campus.

Sondheim is the winner of an Academy Award, eight Tony Awards, including the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, multiple Grammy Awards, a Pulitzer Prize and the Laurence Olivier Award. Described by Frank Rich of the New York Times as 'the greatest, and perhaps best-known artist working in musical theatre', his most famous scores include (as composer/lyricist) A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, and Assassins. He also wrote the lyrics for West Side Story and Gypsy. Lloyd Webber has composed 13 musicals, a song cycle, a set of variations, two film scores, and a Latin Requiem Mass. He has also gained a number of honours, including a knighthood in 1992, followed by a peerage from the British Government for services to Music, seven Tony Awards, three Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, fourteen Ivor Novello Awards, seven Olivier Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and the Kennedy Center Honors in 2006. Several of his songs, notably 'The Music of the Night', 'I Don't Know How to Love Him', 'Don't Cry for Me, Argentina' and 'You Must Love Me', 'Any Dream Will Do' and 'Memory' have been widely recorded and were hits outside of their parent musicals.
