The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) will present its Songwriter Spotlight concert at 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, on August 25 at 7pm.
The Tony-nominated co-star of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Bryce Pinkham, will co-host Broadway Sings Its Heart Out tonight with Jake Lacy, known for his portrayal of Pete Miller on NBC's 'The Office,' and as co-star of this summer's acclaimed film Obvious Child and upcoming star on HBO's 'Girls'.
It was announced today that Jake Lacy will join the Tony-nominated co-star of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Bryce Pinkham, as co-host of Broadway Sings Its Heart Out. Lacy is known for his portrayal of Pete Miller on NBC's 'The Office,' and as co-star of this summer's acclaimed film Obvious Child. Next season, Lacy will appear on HBO's 'Girls.'

The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just welcomed an array of award-winning performers for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, its annual benefit concert, which was held last night, July 21, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC). Special guests included: Adam Chanler-Berat, Justin Guarini, Zach Unger, Barrett Foa, Lena Hall, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Condola Rashad, Robin de Jesus, Seth Rudetsky, Telly Leung and more! Following is an updated chronological listing incorporating changes to the New York Philharmonic's 2014–15 season since the artists and programs for the season were announced on January 22, 2014. Highlights include:
Bryce Pinkham, the Tony-nominated co-star of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will host Broadway Sings Its Heart Out, a one-night-only, star-studded concert benefitting Zara Aina - the organization founded by Mr. Pinkham and Lucas Rooney that offers children in Madagascar the tools to succeed as students and story tellers by delivering school supplies to their villages and producing their original works of theatre.
The New York Philharmonic will present a semi-staged production of Kern & Hammerstein's Tony Award-winning musical Show Boat, November 5 - 8, 2014. Vanessa Williams will star as Julie, Julian Ovenden will star as Gaylord Ravenal, and Lauren Worsham will star as Magnolia, all in their Philharmonic debuts. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
NBC's 'Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' will rebroadcast the musical performance by the cast of the Tony Award-winning production A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER tonight, June 26th. Other guest appearances on the show will include Jennifer Lawrence and Craig Robinson.
On July 7 at 10pm, Brooklyn-based band Sky-Pony will hit the stage at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2. Since its formation in 2012, the band has garnered a cult following for sets that merge rock show and theatrical event.
