Based on Baz Luhrmann's classic film that inspired the world to dance, Strictly Ballroom The Musical will begin performances at the Piccadilly Theatre on Thursday 29th March 2018 (Press Night Tuesday 24th April).

According to the West End Frame, current HAIRSPRAY UK tour producer Mark Goucher, has revealed that he wants the musical to transfer to the West End next year.
The dust has only recently settled on the last production of Hairspray at the Curve in Leicester but now this production is on the road across the UK. Based on the packed house at the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham last night, it's proven itself to be a show that people will return to. It's just upsetting that this time around the show did not live up to my expectations.

Blonde baritone Rhydian Roberts will bring some added X Factor to Grease when he joins the smash hit musical to guest star as ‘Teen Angel' for a limited 6 week season later this year. The singing sensation will leave audiences hopelessly devoted to his charms when Grease rocks into Blackpool (17- 22 October), Sunderland (24 October- 5 November), Liverpool (8- 19 November) and Norwich (22 November-3 December) where he will play 1 week only of the show's 2 week run at the Theatre Royal.
