On the Square Productions, an award winning not for profit theatre company, announces their season on August 29th, 2011. On the Square has worked with has worked with such talents as Cyrilla Baer (The Adding Machine, Uncle Vanya at CSC), Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd, Rockof Ages, Candide-Helen Hayes Award, Ten Cents a Dance-Williamstown), Wesley Taylor (Rock of Ages, The Addams Family, Tales From the City- ACT), Marnie Schulenburg (As The World Turns, South Pacific- Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival). Highlights for the upcoming season include readings by playwrights Delaney Britt Brewer (Youngblood Playwrights) and Jacqueline Goldfinger (current semi-finalist F.Otto Haas award for Emerging Philadelphia Theatre Artist, nominee 2010 L. Arnold Weissberger Award). Other highlights include The Festival of Dionysia:Ten Minute Play Festival, and a site specific production of The Minervae by Steven Bost for the Queens community. On the Square Productions is currently nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Best Short Script for their 2010 production at The Flea Theater of Monroe, Illinois: Over Here/Townie by Aaron Wigdor Levy (Public Theatre Emerging Writers Group).

The refined production of the new Rodgers and Hart musical, which Doyle first conceived at England's Watermill Theatre, marks the first time a new musical has ever been presented on WTF's Main Stage. Ten Cents a Dance will be the final presentation on the Main Stage for the 2011 Season at WTF, running through August 28, 2011 and opening August 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.Ten Cents a Dance is a co-production with McCarter Theatre Center. Molina starred in the 2005 hit Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd and the Broadway production of ROCK OF AGES. Off-Broadway credits include, Henry, Sweet Henry (The York), Meet Me in St. Louis and Just So Stories (National Tour, Theatreworks/USA). Pianist Scott Bradlee enlisted the help of Molina, bassist Adam Kubota, and drummer Allan Mednard, put together a jazzy cover of Britney Spears' Till the World Ends. Check it out below!

Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) announced today that it will be casting the final roles for A Doll's House from the local community.

American history meets Jersey Shore by way of The Great Gatsby at DrinkTheDeal's presentation of 'Thomas Jefferson & His Ragtime Orchestra' at mixology hotspot Theater Bar on June 24. The production, a comedic account of the life of the third President told through 1920s-style arrangements of current pop hits, is being staged as part of a three hour open bar event that runs from 9pm-12am.
