Paper Mill Playhouse to Offer Autism-Friendly Performance of ELF, Dec 23

Paper Mill Playhouse is proud to announce a special autism-friendly performance for its critically-acclaimed, holiday musical, Elf. Paper Mill Playhouse will offer this special autism-friendly performance of Elf on Tuesday, December 23, at 1:30pm. This performance is designed specifically for children on the autism spectrum or with other developmental disabilities.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents the holiday musical, Elf. Based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, Elf has a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Elf will be directed by Eric Ankrim and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Elf will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater now through January 4, 2015. The official press opening night is tonight, November 30, at 7:00pm.

Center Stage Announces Casting for STONE IN HIS POCKETS by Mary Jones

MORE Opera Presents AIDA, 8/24

The Manhattan Opera Repertory Ensemble (MORE Opera) will present a gala benefit concert performance of Giuseppe Verdi's grand opera 'AIDA' on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 7:30 PM at The Church of the Most Precious Blood, 109 Mulberry Street at Canal Street in Little Italy. The semi-staged performance will be sung in Italian, and stars Cheryl Warfield as Aida, Adam Klein as Radames, Richard Hobson as Amonasro, Laura Smith as Amneris, Steven Fredericks as Ramphis, Scott Tomlinson as the King, Victor Ziccardi as the Messenger, Sarah Blood as the Grand Priestess and the 50 voice MORE Opera Chorus. Come hear the expressive vocal qualities of some of New York's finest talent in this grand concert production. BENEATHA'S PLACE Begins May 8 in Baltimore

On Wednesday, May 8, CENTERSTAGE begins previews of the World Premiere production of Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah's new play, Beneatha's Place. The production, playing in rotating repertory with Clybourne Park, forms the second half of The Raisin Cycle. Opening Night for Beneatha's Place will be on Wednesday, May 15.

CLYBOURNE PARK to Launch 'Raisin Cycle' at CENTERSTAGE, 4/10

CENTERSTAGE announces the Baltimore Premiere of Bruce Norris' highly acclaimed Clybourne Park, the first of two landmark plays slated to run in rotating repertory this spring as The Raisin Cycle. The Baltimore Premiere of Clybourne Park begins previews April 10, and the World Premiere of CENTERSTAGE Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah's Beneatha's Place begins May 8.

THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT Begins 4/10 at the Kitchen Theatre Company

The Kitchen Theatre's 22nd Season continues with the regional premiere of Stephen Adly Guirgis's The Motherf**ker with the Hat. The play runs from April 10 to 28, with preview performances April 10, 11 and 12. Opening Night is April 13, and the closing performance is on April 28.
