When a bedraggled bride is found stranded at an East Texas bus station in 1942, the determined ladies of the Eufala Springs Garden Club leap into action! Lemonade, wedding cake and a gown are easy enough to come by... but where's the groom? This side-splitting comedy overflows with love, laughter and Southern hospitality at its best! Wedding Belles was written by Alan Bailey and Ronnie Claire Edwards. Directed by associate artistic director Karen Lund, Wedding Belles opens on September 24 and runs through October 23, with low-price previews on September 22 and 23, plus a pay-what-you-can performance on September 29.

Today, June 30, 'The Unconventionals' performed at the Villandry Restaurant to launch their new album 'Flower to the People' in London, England. 'The Unconventionals' were formed months before their appearance on the X-factor in 2006. They were eliminated in the first week, but have since released albums and begun touring. GREEN MAN by Don Nigro is a re-telling of the medieval poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" set during the American Civil War. It is the story of Gavin, a wounded Union soldier who wanders lost and delirious into an abandoned chapel and soon finds himself caught in a deadly and mysterious game of seduction, transgression and murder. Brad Raimondo and Pageant Wagon Productions will present the play, directed by Mr. Raimondo, at FRIGID New York 2010. FRIGID New York 2010 runs February 24th through March 7th. GREEN MAN will play five performances: Feb 25th at 11pm, Feb 28th at 6:30pm, March 1st at 8pm, March 5th at 6:30pm and March 6th at 2pm. All performances will be at the Red Room, located on the third floor of 85 East 4th Street, between 2nd Avenue & Bowery.

The show, about a 1950s housewife who undergoes a dramatic make-over, is written by composer Wayne Barker and lyricist-librettist Donna Kaz. Live! Nude! Girl had a Manhattan reading in January 2008 and will premiere a revised script and score in two NYMF presentations.

Menopause The Musical has made the much-deserved move to the Las Vegas Strip and Luxor's Atrium Showroom. Over the course of the last three years in Las Vegas, this 'little show that could' has performed 1,534 times and worldwide has played to more than 11 million people in 250 cities in 13 countries. In Las Vegas alone, Menopause The Musical has entertained nearly 500,000 guests.

The Incredibly Innovative Innovators of Pittsburgh, a Pittsburgh CLO Gallery of Heroes production, kicked off its spring tour January 12, 2009, at Peabody High School. Originally developed to coincide with the Pittsburgh 250 celebration, this educational and entertaining production was extended for an additional tour by popular demand. The show is traveling to local schools, teaching students about the men, women and innovations from Pittsburgh that have helped to change the world during the last 250 years. The spring tour will run through May 15 at schools in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Green, Indiana, Washington and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania and in Weirton, West Virginia. The production is presented in partnership with the Senator John Heinz History Center.

Menopause The Musical?, which debuted at the Las Vegas Hilton on February 1, 2006 and continues playing to sold out audiences nightly, celebrates its 1,500th tonight (Monday) at 7 p.m.. The hit production recently welcomed Queen Emily (one of the top five finalists in 'America's Got Talent') as a cast member. She joins Paige O'Hara, the voice of 'Belle' in the Disney classic 'Beauty and the Beast' as well as Cheryl Spencer and Laura Lee O'Connell.
