In keeping with the trans-Atlantic relationship, Chicago Shakespeare and Scotland's theater community are engaged in a cultural exchange-one CST production, The Q Brothers' Othello: The Remix, is now playing to wildly enthusiastic response at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the very festival that launched two critically acclaimed National Theatre of Scotland (NTS) productions that are slated for Chicago Shakespeare's fall 2012 World's Stage series: The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, and the return engagement of Black Watch.

Bill Kenwright and John Miller will present a strictly limited West End season of SOUL SISTER, the new musical inspired by the music, life and times of Ike and Tina Turner, which caused a sensation during its inception at the Hackney Empire. Featuring Emi Wokoma as 'Tina Turner'-whose vocal and dance talents have attracted huge critical and public acclaim since the production's launch-SOUL SISTER will play at the Savoy Theatre now through 29 September 2012, with opening night set for tomorrow, 23 August at 7pm. The 2012 season at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre includes productions of RAGTIME and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. From today, rehearsals are underway for the 2012 season at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, which includes productions of RAGTIME and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.

With over 140,000 visitors each season, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre is now an essential part of summer in the city and, in 2012, with the eyes of the world on London, a destination for visitors from around the world. Celebrating this unique year, the theatre will present a repertory season of two major productions which will share the same creative team, led by Artistic Director, Timothy Sheader.

Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance runs at the Almeida Theatre from 05 May - 02 July, with press night on 12 May 2011. Directed by James Macdonald, A Delicate Balance is designed by Laura Hopkins, with lighting by Guy Hoare, sound by Ian Dickinson and music by Gwilym Simcock.

Lucy Cohu (Julia), Diana Hardcastle (Edna), Ian McElhinney (Harry), Imelda Staunton (Claire) and Tim Pigott-Smith (Tobias) will join the previously announced Penelope Wilton (Agnes) in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by James Macdonald which will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 May - 2 July, with press night on 12 May 2011. A Delicate Balance will be designed by Laura Hopkins with lighting by Guy Hoare and sound by Ian Dickinson.

Sadler's Wells is pleased to announce the casting details for the West End opening of Richard Thomas and Stephen Mear's fabulously original musical, Shoes. Following the show's smash-hit world premiere at Sadler's Wells in September 2010, Shoes transfers to the West End's Peacock Theatre for a limited eight-week run from Tuesday 8 February - Sunday 3 April 2011.
