PBS to Premiere Special DOWNTON ABBEY REDISCOVERED, 11/30

Relief is on the way for the millions of devoted viewers eagerly awaiting the debut of the new season of 'Downton Abbey,' a Carnival Films/ MASTERPIECE co-production premiering on PBS January 4, 2015.

TV: Inside Opening Night of West End's GREAT BRITAIN!

Richard Bean's new play Great Britain opened in the West End on September 26,following a sell-out run at the National Theatre. With a cast led by Lucy Punch andRobert Glenister, Nicholas Hytner's production now continues at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a strictly limited season to 10 January 2015. Designs are by Tim Hatley, with video design by 59 Productions, lighting by Neil Austin, music by Grant Olding and sound by Paul Arditti. Go inside opening night in the video below!

STAGE TUBE: "The World is Changing" in New DOWNTON ABBEY Season 5 Trailer

ITV has just released the latest DOWNTON ABBEY trailer for the next season, season 5, and with it come even more questions about the future of the characters. In this trailer, butler Carson (Jim Carter) says, 'I feel a shaking of the ground I stand on,' and Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael) adds, 'the world is changing.' And of course, so are the Crawley family and their staff.

DOWNTON ABBEY Cast Turns Water Bottle Blooper Into Chance for Charity

Although ITV's historical drama Downton Abbey is set in 1920s Great Britain, a recent promotional photo erroneously featuring a modern-day plastic water bottle caused quite a stir among fans. The shot featured stars Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael and a 21st-century water bottle! Now, the cast of Downton Abbey has responded to the now-viral whoops by taking a new photo, posing to promote the charity Wateraid. Scroll down for both pictures!
