'Jersey Boys', the award-winning Broadway musical which opened in London's West End at the Prince Edward Theatre on 18 March last year, is on a roll when it comes to theatre award nominations in the UK, the Tony winning tuner has been nominated for four What's On Stage Awards and five Oliviers.

Bobby Fox, Scott Johnson, Glaston Toft and Stephen Mahy will star in JERSEY BOYS - The story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Broadway's multi-award winning musical opening in Melbourne's Princess Theatre on July 4. Rehearsals begin in Melbourne in April. Bobby Fox will play Frankie Valli, Scott Johnson is Tommy DeVito, Glaston Toft is Nick Massi and Stephen Mahy is Bob Gaudio - The Four Seasons. JERSEY BOYS is the story of how four boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. Oscar & Emmy Award winning screen legend JANE FONDA will return to Broadway in MOISES KAUFMAN's 33 VARIATIONS. Performances begin on Monday, February 9th, 2009 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). The official opening will be Monday, March 9th, 2009. The engagement will play through May 24th, 2009. The play marks Fonda's first time on Broadway in 46 years.

This week, the cast of Jersey Boys Las Vegas welcomed Frankie Valli and Rick Elice, co-writer of Jersey Boys, as together they proudly introduced the cast of the upcoming Australian company in a private event at the Jersey Boys Theatre at the Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino. The smash hit JERSEY BOYS at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino has been named the number one show of the year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Nevada's largest newspaper. In a year of stiff competition, JERSEY BOYS claimed the top spot for entertainment in 2008 ahead of such celebrated productions as Bette Midler 'The Showgirl Must Go On,' Cher and Donny and Marie Osmond.

Travis Cloer, the current Frankie Valli alternate in JERSEY BOYS Las Vegas at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino, sang 'America the Beautiful' before the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl Game between University of Arizona and Brigham Young University on Saturday, December 20. Following Travis' rousing performance, previous Strip performer David Hasselhoff sang the National Anthem.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to report that the Chicago company of Jersey Boys has raised $41,524 to benefit Chicago Public Schools through the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.

Dates have been announced for the Boston engagement of JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre for six weeks only! The musical will make its Boston premiere on Thursday, July 23 and play through Sunday, August 30. Press night is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale in time for the holiday gift giving season on Sunday, December 7 at 10AM.
