Atlantic Theater Company has announced the two final productions of its 2012-2013 season.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) has just announced the two final productions of its 2012-2013 season.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced a new production of Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play Talley's Folly, directed by Michael Wilson, will complete the 2012-2013 theatrical season.

LUZ-a new play by Catherine Filloux (DOG AND WOLF, LEMKIN'S HOUSE)-will be given its world-premiere production this fall, with previews beginning September 28 prior to an official press opening October 4 at La MaMa's First Floor Theatre (74A E. 4 St.) in Manhattan. LUZ is a Watson Arts Project, which presents original theater with a particular emphasis on women. LUZ is scheduled to run through October 14.

CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATION-the newest work by the celebrated playwright, performer and longtime La MaMa artist Jean-Claude van Itallie -- will debut at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St. in Manhattan) for four performances only September 20 to 23. Written and performed by Mr. van Itallie, CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATION is directed by Rosemary Quinn. CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATIONS is presented by La MaMa, one of the first productions of the internationally-renowned theatre's 51st season.

Amy Sohn is the author of the novels Prospect Park West, My Old Man and Run Catch Kiss. Her latest novel, Motherland, features Melora Leigh, a former A-list actress who is starring in a Broadway revival of 'Fifth of July'. Signature Theatre Company has announced a two-week extension for Sam Shepard's HEARTLESS, directed by Daniel Aukin. The production will now play through Sunday, September 30. The production began performances on August 7 and will open August 27 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The initial run is already completely sold out. Tickets during the extension weeks are $75 each.

The University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance has long produced successful acting talents. Thanks to the school's stage management program, it's also launching the careers of behind-the-scenes stars.In 2011, the school began offering a concentration in stage management for students pursuing a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) in theater. Next summer, the school will graduate its first stage management BFA student, while several others recently took their talents to theater companies across the country.
