New York City Dance Alliance National Season Finale Set for 6/28-7/5

This summer, from June 28th-July 5th at the Sheraton NY just north of Times Square, 1,500 student dancers from across the United States (ages 7-18) will attend the New York City Dance Alliance National Season Finale which last year awarded a grand total of $2.9 million in college scholarships. Several past student participants have gone on to perform on Broadway and be principal dancers at some of the country's most respected dance companies. Past participants have also been winners of the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance and also appear as the pros on Dancing with the Stars.

Audience members collectively write, record and produce their own pop single and video, featuring an assembled cast of participants performing a flashmob dance routine. Along the way, Stu reveals the modest but glittering highs and barrel-scraping lows of his own pop career. The producers of Ghost The Musical announced today that Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy will reprise their starring roles as Sam and Molly, which they originated in London's hit West End production, when it premieres this Spring at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). They will be joined by Bryce Pinkham as Carl Bruner and newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae Brown. Preview performances will begin on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Opening night is confirmed for Monday, April 23, 2012.

GHOST: THE MUSICAL began previews on Thursday, March 15th at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Set in modern day New York City, Ghost The Musical is a timeless fantasy about the power of love. Walking back to their apartment one night, Sam and Molly are mugged, leaving Sam murdered on a dark street. Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next and unable to leave Molly, who he learns is in grave danger. With the help of a phony storefront psychic, Oda Mae Brown, Sam tries to communicate with Molly in the hope of saving and protecting her.
