Eden Espinosa, Kimberley Locke & More to Headline BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE Tonight

Broadway Sings for Pride will kickoff NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert. The special one-night benefit entitled ' Unite' with join forces with American Idol and Billboard recording artistic Kimberley Locke, Broadway powerhouse Eden Espinosa (star of Wicked, Rent, Brooklyn The Musical), American Idol and Rent star Anwar Robinson and over 20 members of the Broadway community. The concert will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute and Broadway Sings for Pride. There will also be special speakers including a message of hope from Steven Guy and James Clementi of the Tyler Clementi Foundation. The night will be hosted by award winning host from the hit show 'truTV Presents: the World's Dumbest' Scott Nevins with staging by Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves choreographer). A live auction will happen before the show.

Ghostlight Records has announced the release of the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of Fancy Nancy The Musical. The acclaimed children's show is currently running at Vital Theatre Company, New York's leading not-for-profit family theatre. The album will have a digital release of March 12 with physical copies online and in stores on April 23. The show features music by Danny Abosch, book by Susan DiLallo and lyrics by both. The musical is based on the book series written by Jane O'Connor and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser.

Tonight, December 2, 2012, more than 10 of Broadway Sings for Pride's Broadway and theater luminaries will take part in a very special 102nd birthday celebration benefiting victims of Hurricane Sandy. In honor of Msgr. Marinacci's 102nd birthday, The Basilica of Saint Patrick's Old Cathedral will be hosting a fundraiser on behalf of the victims of Hurricane Sandy from 1:30-4:00pm at the Saint Patrick's Youth Center.
