Production of sixth season of 'Silicon Valley' will be delayed until the second half of  2019, according to Variety.

An outstanding lineup of entertainers gathered in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall to salute Julia Louis-Dreyfus, recipient of the 21st annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on October 21, 2018. The Prize, which is named to honor one of the world's greatest humorists, was presented at a gala performance featuring some of the biggest names in comedy. The event was taped by WETA Washington, D.C. and will air nationally on PBS on November 19, 2018 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

More than $100,000 was raised at the exclusive one-night-only reading of Terms of Endearment presented by Berlanti Productions and Jessica Queller at the Geffen Playhouse, it was announced today. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Stand Up To Cancer and Geffen Playhouse's New Play Development Program.

The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, starring Robert Downey Jr., has set a new release date of January 17, 2020, according to Variety.

As previously reported, an exclusive one-night-only reading of Terms of Endearment is headed to The Geffen Playhouse. Newly announced Kate Burton, Willie Garson, Alfred Molina, Kumail Nanjiani, and Italia Ricci join the cast.

The Kennedy Center today unveiled an all-star lineup and new producers for the 21st annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, which this year will celebrate Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Under the direction of the creative team from Done + Dusted, the Kennedy Center's new producing partner for the Mark Twain Prize, the cast will feature many of Louis-Dreyfus's admirers, friends, and collaborators, including Stephen Colbert, Bryan Cranston, Tina Fey, Ilana Glazer, Tony Hale, Abbi Jacobson, Keegan-Michael Key, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jerry Seinfeld. The live Gala Performance will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. ET in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, and will be taped by WETA Washington, D.C.

Finally on the brink of success, Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) and the Pied Piper team return for the funniest season yet in HBO's hit comedy Silicon Valley: The Complete Fifth Season, coming to DVD September 4, 2018. In a season which earned seven total 2018 Emmy® nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, season five “is still capable of extracting gut-busting comedy” (Slant Magazine).

Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day have teamed up for a straight-to-series comedy for Apple, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Emma Thompson is returning to the world of Men In Black.

The second and final wave of TEEN CHOICE TM 2018 nominees have been announced and music artists Cardi B and Selena Gomez lead with four nominations each. In film, "The Greatest Showman," "Black Panther" and "Solo: A Star Wars Story" each received four nods. "Riverdale" leads in television with seven nominations, while "Stranger Things" follows with five and "The Bold Type" with four.

Netflix announced today the all-star guest lineup for his upcoming Netflix special, Seth Rogen's Hilarity for Charity.  Seth Rogen and friends combine stand-up, sketches and music into an outrageous comedy special that could only come from the mind of Seth.

James is presented a food order, recent song played and photograph from a cell phone belonging to either RuPaul Charles, Jenny Slate and Kumail Nanjiani, and James quizzes his guests to see if he can figure out whose those items originated from.

On last night's Late Late Show with James Corden, Kames welcomes back old friends Jenny Slate and Kumail Nanjiani to the show and learns that their friendship has been marred by Kumail's habit of stealing everything from bathroom linens to the cat from Jenny's house. He also asks Jenny about her upcoming birthday theme and learns themed birthday parties haven't always gone in Jenny's favor before learning about Kumail's birthdays in Pakistan.
