The new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will open Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Previews begin Thursday, March 4, 2010 following a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre in Chicago that begins Friday, November 13, 2009.

The best of Broadway is FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2009' - a lunchtime series that kicked off on Thursday July 9th at 12:30PM on the Bryant Park Stage. The series, sponsored by Bank of America and State Farm, features live performances excerpted from big-name on- and off-Broadway shows for open-air enjoyment during lunch hour. Rabble-rousing writer Joe Iconis returns to Joe's Pub, bringing with him his beloved family of musical theater punks. The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree is a laid-back, fired-up evening of Iconis tunes, featuring new jams, old faithfuls, and glimpses into the future. Songs of hate and hope, suburbia and pornography, cougars and jailbait, dead people and livin' things, and more sing-alongs than you can shake a glass of whiskey at. Some special guests will join Joe for this, the first leg of his legendary 'Mule Mutation' Tour 2009. So come on down to the Jamboree- it's loud, soft, sweet, nasty, and above all else, bloody as hell. Debut album out later this year.

A night of songs by musical theater writer Joe Iconis (THINGS TO RUIN; ReWRITE; THE BLACK SUITS; THE PLANT THAT ATE DIRTY SOCKS) will rock Joe's Pub on July 10th and 17th at 9:30pm.

THINGS TO RUIN is about human beings who are messy, emotional, drugged up, knocked down, inspired, electric and who don't have nearly enough time to cause the kind of commotion they so desperately need to. Performed by a cast of viciously talented young singers and a highly flammable four-piece band led by Joe himself, THINGS TO RUIN rocks with an occasionally profane and always heartfelt explosion of music and high drama.

The benefit concert will feature over 25 top-name performers from the worlds of Broadway, television, film, music and comedy - including many Tony, Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy Award winners and nominees. Tickets to 'BROADWAY FOR A NEW AMERICA' range from $40.00 to $125.00.

Javier Munoz joined In The Heights for a reading in 2005 and has been involved ever since, in the ensemble and as understudy for ?Usnavi? at the O?Neill Theater Workshop and in the 2006 Off-Broadway and current Broadway productions. Lin-Manuel Miranda?s last performance will be Sunday February 15, 2009.
