 The 8th season of New York Theatre Barn's New Works Series continues November 30, 2015 at the Daryl Roth Theatre with Pre-Premieres of three new musicals: Ruth Maier, #Mars, and Leech.  There will also be a sneak peek from the new musical For Tonight.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2016 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 19 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration. One of the most highly anticipated shows of the season, LAZARUS, is already causing quite a stir, and now more information has been revealed about David Bowie's new musical.

After selling out the initial engagement in just three hours, New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced an additional three weeks of performances of LAZARUS by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), inspired by the novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis, and directed by Ivo van Hove (Hedda Gabler, More Stately Mansions, Obie Awards).

Tickets for LAZARUS, the second production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) 2015/16 Season, will go on sale today beginning at 12pm EST. Single tickets for LAZARUS are $95. A limited number of $25 CheapTix will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first two performances.
