On this week's AMERICAN IDOL on Fox, the Top 8 are mentored by Gwen Stefani and Tony Kanal of No Doubt as they take on songs from the 1980s. Judge Jennifer Lopez is also slated to premiere her new music video for her single 'Dance Again' on the Thursday results show.

Contestant Baylie Brown made a return visit to Fox's AMERICAN IDOL audition round last night. The singer first appeared on the show for Season 6 in 2007 where she made it to the Hollywood week but was then sent home. This year, Brown's version of 'Bed of Roses' wowed the judges and sent her on to the next round of competition!

On Sunday, December 4, 2011, the Trevor Project presented 'Trevor Live,' a high-profile event to benefit the life-saving work of The Trevor Project. The evening featured moving performances from Hollywood's most talented and entertaining performers, including Mary J. Blige,Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah, LeAnn Rimes, Barrett Foa and the Warblers, Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough, JC Chasez, American Idol contestants Kris Allen and Stefano Langone, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, Jesse Tyler Ferguson,Darren Criss, Step up Dance, and Amber Riley.

AMERICAN IDOL's Scotty McCreery was honored last night with the 'Artist of the Year' award at the 2011 American Country Award's broadcast on Fox. On the show, McCreery performed his latest hit song, 'The Trouble With Girls' and thanked his fans for voting for him for the ACA's as well as on last season of American idol.

'The 2011 Billboard Music Awards' show aired live Sunday, May 22nd (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The awards show took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in partnership with Chevrolet and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).
