Steppenwolf Theatre Company's highly anticipated world premiere production of MARY PAGE MARLOWE, written by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning playwright and ensemble member Tracy Letts, is helmed by Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro, who directed Letts's internationally acclaimed August: Osage County. She teams up with him again for this intimate and moving production in Steppenwolf's 40th anniversary season. The show is currently in previews for an April 10 opening night and runs through May 29, 2016 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St). A Red Orchid Theatre announces full cast, creative team and new run dates for the World Premiere of Pilgrim's Progress by Ensemble Member Bret Neveu (The Opponent), directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray (Mud Blue Sky, Accidentally like a Martyr).  Pilgrim's Progress will now run November 4-December 13, 2015 and feature Ensemble Members Kirsten Fitzgerald and Michael Shannon with Ryan Bourque (The Hypocrite's All Our Tragic) and Charlotte Mae Ellison (Writers Theatre's The Diary of Anne Frank).

NO WAKE Replaces COPS AND FRIENDS OF COPS in Route 66's 2016 Season

Route 66 Theatre Company will present the Chicago premiere of No Wake by William Donnelly, directed by Kimberly Senior, and the world premiere of Quiver by Jenni Lamb, directed by Frances Limoncelli, during its seventh year as a company and third year as a resident company at Greenhouse Theater Center. The previously announced Cops and Friends of Cops by Ron Klier has been postponed due to scheduling.

A Red Orchid Theatre announces additional Ensemble casting for its 2015-2016 season. Founding Ensemble Member and Oscar Nominee Michael Shannon joins Artistic Director Kirsten Fitzgerald on stage in the World Premiere of Pilgrim's Progress by Ensemble Member Bret Neveu. Seven Ensemble Members will appear together in Tennessee Williams' The Mutilated, including Lance Baker, Jennifer Engstrom, Mierka Girten, Steve Haggard, Shade Murray, Doug Vickers and Natalie West. Murray makes his A Red Orchid stage debut with The Mutilated.
