2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents The Great Society at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. A co-production with the Alley Theatre and directed by DTC Enloe/Rose Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty, The Great Society begins on March 9 and runs through April 1. Composers' Choice will pay tribute to celebrated composers of the stage with a fabulous evening of unexpected songs, honoring Orin Wolf, John Styles, and John Hart for their contribution to American musical theater.

Columbia University Libraries, on behalf of the board of the Edward M. Kennedy Prize for Drama Inspired by American History, has announced the five finalist works for the 2018 award
Kathy Evans, Founding Executive Director of Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, announced applications are open for this summer. Nine musical theatre writing teams will be hosted for 9 consecutive weeklong residencies in the Hudson Valley between July 2 and September 3. All writers are eligible and their musical can be at any stage of development, as long as it has not been published or licensed. Selected writers pay nothing to participate and receive a $500 stipend. All costs are covered by donations to Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, including travel up to $750. Writers with children are welcomed to apply and Rhinebeck Writers Retreat will accommodate their housing needs. There is no fee for applications received by February 16 and there is a fee of $20 for the final deadline of February 23. Byron is a Senior in the BFA Musical Theater program at Pace University. In the past year, he has been cast as Al DeLuca in Pace's production of 'A Chorus Line' directed by Baayork Lee, Caiaphas in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' directed by Gina Rattan, and The Bus/The Dryer in 'Caroline, Or Change' directed by Jeanine Tesori. Byron has also performed and worked alongside well-known artists such as Michael John-LaChiusa, Warren Carlyle, Cynthia Erivo, Kenny Rogers, Darren Criss, Keala Settle, and Yolanda Adams. He would like to give a special thanks to his loving and very supportive family and friends.
Noah Mogaka joins WOMEN OF THE WINGS: A CELEBRATION OF FEMALE MUSICAL THEATRE WRITERS, set for March 2 at Feinstein's/54 Below. Noah is a NYC-based actor, originally from the small town of West Grove, PA. He moved to the city in 2014 to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre at Pace University and is currently completing his final year in the program. Since beginning his new life in the city, he has had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of musicals, plays, and TV/film projects. He has been fortunate enough to work with the likes of Michael John LaChiusa, Alexandra Silber, Cynthia Erivo, and Graciela Daniele. He is continuously grateful for the life he gets to live and is deeply passionate about art, love, and human connection.
