Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for the Texas-sized production of the Tony Award-winning play, ALL THE WAY. A co-production with the Alley Theatre and directed by DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty, the Houston Chronicle calls ALL THE WAY "a fascinating portrait of one of the most colorful and complex figures in U.S. history." ALL THE WAY features company members from both DTC and the Alley Theatre.

Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty announced today the theater's 2016-2017 season including two world-premiere musicals titled Bella: An American Tall Tale by Kirsten Childs, the co-lyricist of FLY; and the world-premiere musical Hood, a fresh take on Robin Hood by Douglas Carter Beane and Lewis Flinn. Also included in the 2016-2017 season are two of The New York Times Best Theater picks of 2015, Constellations and The Christians; the classic historical drama, Inherit The Wind; a reimagined Greek tragedy, Electra; the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol; and an exciting new work with a title to be announced. DTC's 2016-2017 season includes productions in the Potter Rose Performance Hall and the Studio Theatre at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the Kalita Humphreys Theater on Turtle Creek.

This story about four characters, each afflicted by forms and stages of depression, will be presented for the first time in Rhode Island by the Community College of Rhode Island Players.

Roundabout Theatre Company has confirmed the lineup for its fifth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series this morning, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written and directed by emerging artists, as well as curtain speeches by Roundabout Underground artist alumni and post-show receptions. Roundabout welcomes back Mamie Gummer, who made her New York stage debut in Roundabout's 2005 production of Mr. Marmalade. The world premiere of Ugly Lies the Bone opened off-Broadway last night, October 13, 2015 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Kim Rosenstock's play "99 Ways to F**k a Swan" currently being offered from Washington Ensemble Theatre is not going to be everyone's cup of tea with its outrageously bizarre themes and extremely dark and twisted humor. But if you can see your way past its surreal nature, the language, the nudity and (as the title would suggest) some frank discussions on bestiality what you have left is a stunningly performed and beautifully crafted twisted love story that deserves attention.
