A special Broadway Ballyhoo, celebrating the 99th birthday of the show's producer/host, Scott Siegel ('Because that's how old I feel') will be a star-studded affair at the show's new home at The Laurie Beechman Theater.
The Northeast Children's Theatre Company, a professional non-profit theatre company for young audiences and families, is thrilled to announce a star-studded lineup of entertainment for its upcoming Inaugural Gala. 'Broadway in Connecticut,' set for October 19, will feature Tituss Burgess (THE LITTLE MERMAID, GUYS AND DOLLS), Leslie Kritzer (ELF, LEGALLY BLONDE) and Adam Guettel (Composer/Lyricist, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA). Veterans of the stage and screen also making special appearances include Frank Root (42ND STREET, MACK AND MABEL), Susan Terry (EVITA, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC) and Cynthia Gibb (Gypsy with Bette Midler).

Paper Mill Playhouse will launch its 75th Anniversary Season with the world-premiere, Broadway-bound musical Honeymoon in Vegas, based on the Castle Rock Entertainment motion picture of the same title. Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade, 13) and book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). Gary Griffin (The Color Purple) will direct with original choreography by Denis Jones.

Cinderella welcomed its first same sex proposal last night, September 4, directly following the 7:30pm show. The couple, Jason Aronne and Kunal Ghose, lives in San Diego and have been together for two years. Ghose said: 'Growing up in India you don't hear many western stories but you do read Cinderella and it left a lasting impression of finding 'happily ever after' on me. This would be a best place to start our happily ever after like Cinderella and her Prince.'
