Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center (THPAC) will hold its 46th Dance Season from June 22-25 at The Mark O'Donnell Theater at Entertainment Community Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn.

Blues vocalist Sari Schorr is back in the studio this week to record the follow-up album to her critically acclaimed debut album 'A Force of Nature". Before embarking on her UK tour on Wednesday 15th March, Sari is currently recording her new studio album in Bath.

Shakespeare in the Bar is proud to announce a new leadership team of artists which will allow the group to continue producing work in the years ahead. Co-founders Katherine Bourne and Dylan Key are thrilled to announce that Kevin Butler, Jeffrey Colangelo, Janielle Kastner, Marcus Stimac, and Katy Tye will take over as producers of Shakespeare in the Bar. Bourne and Key are departing to pursue opportunities in Chicago and San Diego respectively, but will continue to be involved in an advisory capacity.

NYC Parks Brooklyn Borough Commissioner Kevin Jeffrey yesterday joined City Council Member Vincent Gentile, the family of Patrick O'Rourke and local community members to break ground on a $1 million makeover of Patrick O'Rourke Playground in Brooklyn. The playground was first constructed in 1956, but has not received any renovations since the 1990s.

After the ribbon cutting, center members of varying ages will jump in the pool and Parks Aquatics Instructors will lead a water aerobics class.
