Music Theatre of Connecticut School of Performing Arts presents FOOTLOOSE, a fully staged and costumed production performed by MTC School of Performing Arts students.

TV powerhouses Warner Bros. Television and TV Guide Magazine have renewed their super alliance to deliver fans the ultimate must-have Comic-Con item for the third year in a row: a Warner Bros.-themed Comic-Con special edition of the magazine, featuring programming from the Studio and four sets of collectible 'flip' covers starring the casts of The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries on both front and back.

NBC is partnering with the acclaimed 'Smash' producing team of Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (film versions of 'Chicago' and 'Hairspray') to present a live broadcast of 'The Sound of Music,' based on the original Broadway musical, it was announced today by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment.

L.A. Theatre Works (LATW) has recorded "8," a dramatization of the legal fight against California's Proposition 8 written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) founding board member Dustin Lance Black, for release on audiobook and for broadcast on LATW's nationally syndicated radio theater series. Directed by Rob Reiner and featuring an all-star cast that includes Kevin Bacon, George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christine Lahti, Jane Lynch, Brad Pitt, Martin Sheen and John C. Reilly, "8" will air on public radio stations across the U.S. this week, beginning June 9.
