'SHREK THE MUSICAL' Welcomes Ben Crawford In The Title Role 11/10, Tickets Now On Sale Thru 5/30/2010

DreamWorks Theatricals & Neal Street Productions have announced that a new block of tickets are now available for SHREK THE MUSICAL. The award-winning hit new Broadway musical is now on sale through May 30, 2010. Beginning November 10th, Ben Crawford will perform the title role of ?Shrek'. Crawford replaces Tony Award® nominee Brian d'Arcy James, who departs after the performance on Sunday, November 8th to appear in Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Time Stands Still.

CHOREOGRAPHERS SHOWCASE to Debut Dance Piece Set to Sondheim's 'Another Hundred People' January 29-30

On Thursday, January 29th & Friday, January 30th DanceTracks NYC will present 'Let's Dance.' at The Clark Studio Theater, Samuel B. and David Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center Plaza, 7th Floor. DTNYC, established in 1999, presents choreographic works to the public by emerging artists, as well as, provides production support for established choreographers demonstrating high artistic merit.

No More GREASE Lightning -- GREASE Closes January 4, 2009

The 2008 Tony Award nominated production of GREASE will play its final performance on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street) on Sunday, January 4, 2009. Upon closing, GREASE will have played 554 performances and 31 previews. The first national tour, starring 'American Idol' winner Taylor Hicks, launched Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI.

TV: GREASE Backstage Pass with Ashley Spencer

Ashley was a popular finalist on the NBC talent competition series 'Grease: You're the One That I Want.' Ashley's good girl charm and blonde tresses evoked an example of the perfect 'Sandy'. Ashley Spencer came directly from the Broadway company of Hairspray where she starred as 'Amber von Tussle.' She took BWW TV backstage at 'Rydell High' to give us a look at life at Grease!

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, the four-time Grammy Award winner and iconic star of the film GREASE, has partnered with CURVES, the world's largest fitness franchise for women, to launch an international campaign to distribute 1 million units of the LIV AID, a breast self-exam aid that assists women to exercise breast exams correctly, during 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month.' Newton-John will join the Broadway cast of GREASE on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre immediately following the Tuesday, October 7 performance and present a LIV AID kit to every female audience member.

Ace Young achieved widespread fame in 2006 as a finalist on the hugely successful FOX singing competition 'American Idol.' With weekly exposure to the 40 million plus viewers of America's most widely watched television program, Ace quickly became one of the most recognizable male faces ever to appear on 'Idol.'

Grease Welcomes Keeling and Spencer as 'Danny' and 'Sandy' on July 22nd

The producers of the Tony Award nominated Broadway revival of GREASE announced today that the gang at Rydell High will get a new 'class couple' on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 when Derek Keeling and Ashley Spencer join the cast in the lead roles of 'Danny' and 'Sandy.' Max Crumm and Laura Osnes will play their final performances as the high school sweethearts on Sunday, July 20, 2008.
