Lamb's Players Theatre today announced its cast for SEE HOW THEY RUN. Set in an English country manor house during WWII, Philip King's hilarious comedy is among the very best of British farces. The cast features Lamb's 2012 Acting Company members Kerry Meads, Cynthia Gerber, Jim Chovick, Jason Heil and Myra McWethy, along with Lamb's Associate Artists Ron Choularton, Jeffery Jones and Paul Maley; and the Lamb's debut by Brendan Farley.

Lamb's Players Theatre announced today that it is extending the run of its hit music revue MIXTAPE thru Sunday, September 2nd. MIXTAPE, the greatest hits of the 80s, is now in its 3rd year at the Horton Grand Theatre in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.

Artistic Director Sean Murray is pleased to announce a concert staged reading of the hilarious and rarely performed musical, ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, with book and lyrics by Betty Comdon and Adolph Green and music by Cy Coleman. The delightfully comedic romp will be performed free to attendees of Cygnet Theatre's Mini-Benefit, with proceeds supporting the Storytelling on the Green Program. The Mini-Benefit and Concert Reading will be presented TWO NIGHTS ONLY on Mondays, November 1st and 8th at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town. The Mini-Benefit begins at 6:30pm and the Concert Reading begins at 7:30pm.

Hosted by Sir Ian McKellen, last night, November 1, the Only Make Believe Gala featured a number of performances including the casts of Memphis, the Cast of Billy Elliot: The Musical, and others. Lamb's Players Theatre is providing youth with two performing arts workshop opportunities this summer at the theatre in Coronado. The workshops are one to two weeks in length and provide children with an opportunity to explore creativity and storytelling in a professional theatre setting. The Introductory Workshop takes place June 22 - 27 and is designed for children who have completed the 3rd - 5th grades. The Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop runs for two weeks, July 6 - 18, and is tailored to 12 - 18 year olds.
