Michael McDonald's SEASON OF PEACE: THE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION Due October 12 + New Christmas Tour Dates Confirmed

Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and five-time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald is set for the October 12 release of Season of Peace: The Christmas Collection on BMG. The album compiles McDonald's most beloved Christmas recordings including “White Christmas/Winter Wonderland” (feat. Jonny Lang), “Oh Holy Night,” “Christmas on the Bayou” and “Children Go Where I Send Thee” (feat. Twinkie Clark), as well as a new version of “Winter Wonderland” featuring special guest Jake Shimabukuro. The album art hails from an original painting by McDonald himself; see below for a complete track list.

FOOTLOOSE THE MUSICAL Opens Tonight at Jenny Wiley Theatre

Footloose is based off of a story about Ren McCormack moving to a small town where the local government has banned dancing and rock music, and how he leads his classmates around the law and Reverend Shaw Moore to have a real senior prom. The music is by Tom Snow(among others), the lyrics by Dean Pitchford (with additional lyrics by Kenny Loggins), and the book by Pitchford and Walter Bobbie.

As a special TBT look back on Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2018, today the festival is revealing a highlights video from their star-studded annual PoWoW! set. PoWoW! is a once-in-a-lifetime superstar collaboration that brings top artists together for an ultimate jam session. This year saw hip-hop legends The Roots & Snoop Dogg leading the evening, performing with an array of special guests that spanned the genres of hip-hop, funk and soul. The Queen of Funk, Chaka Khan, took the stage and to perform a few of her classic hits. Rounding out the megawatt lineup was Big Gigantic's saxophonist Dominic Lalli, the exceptionally talented New Orleans' multi-instrumentalist Trombone Shorty, and jazz great Cory Henry.

Erick Sanchez, under the stage name Caramel, wrote and recorded 'Lettuce, Tomatoes & Roses,' an R&B song about sandwiches, just in time for Valentine's Day. The song, produced by Arturo Pina, was released on Saturdayexclusively on Spotify. Sanchez plans to donate all streaming royalties to the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children.
